I was very optimistic about this humidifier to help with our room. Unfortunately after several days of use a leak developed and the water escaped from the base unto the floor!!!! I have been waiting for a response from Levoit about this unusable unit.

Hi. I loved this humidifier .....until i didn't...We received this as a gift in September.
I used it almost every night. I went to use it last night and it leaked everywhere. I thought it was me.
I tried again over the sink. The spring and the float are broken. How can i resolve this?

Struggles to keep up... Using in a medium sized bedroom. Go with the 600 series instead. I came from that one and miss it.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. While the humidifier's effective range may be sufficient for a room, there are environmental factors that may affect the overall relative humidity. If the water in the tank is draining, this means that much moisture has now been added to the air. To ensure your space is as humid as possible, we recommend running the unit constantly (and perhaps at a higher mist level). The humidifier will then output as much mist as possible to combat the seasonal environment. If you have any questions or concerns, we are always happy to help.
