Connected to. 3070 with a display port cable, running 1440p @ 180fpd. Screen turns black for 2 seconds at random intervals. Google says this is a common problem with Asus screens.
Best gaming experience at 32inch. Works amazing with PS5 Pro. Asus did magic with this monitor at this price, VRR on Playstation too and using hdmi 2.0 ports. Asus needs to advertise this feature. 1440p @ 180hz for PC usage 4k- downsample and HDR. VRR 48-60hz (single player games FTW!) 1440p - of course HDR 1080p - 48 - 120hz full range VRR and HDR.
As a VA panel, the colors nice and black levels are very black too. Not quite OLED, but watching a movie on "cinema" mode at night is like 90% of OLED...with no burn in risk. Very responsive and no smearing @ 120fps in my experience. Honestly, this monitor is just as fast and responsive in 120fps games my old vg248qg. And that was very fast 1ms TN. This is huge upgrade in terms of quality of life and just as fast(to me!).
I want to say that 32inch on your desktop is a viewing experience to enjoy. Watching movies is like a mini-movie screen. Story games are full immersion. 27inch is a like moving your 24inch 2-3 closer, nothing special. Bought on sale for $339 and totally happy.
