[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both HP 45 and HP 78 ink tend to dry out very fast in an unused printer. Within two or three days without printing a page, the cartridges fade and streak upon use. I have had to clean the ink cartridges through the print service tab function to get it flowing again. This issue needs to be addressed by the HP design engineers to ensure adequate ink jet saturation under intermittent use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just bought the real HP ink after using the generic brands. Actually, my HP printer would no longer work with the cheap ink. Wondering if this is a feature of all HP printers? However, I'm glad I switched back and have no more "out of ink" problems.
