I bought the AMD Ryzen 5 5500GT APU to replace an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X CPU that always ran hot but lately had started overheating. It's unlikely that the overheating was caused by the CPU but given the sale price of the 5500GT, it was a good excuse the switch. Now my PC is so much quieter. At idle, the 5500GT's temperature is around 35C. I stressed it using CPU-Z software and it peaked at about 89C. All this with the stock cooler. So far, I'm quite pleased with the 5500GT.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Actually, still in the box, waiting on a new motherboard to arrive.
But have full expectations it's going to be perfect for my situation.
I would recommend this to a friend!
