Great Stair Climber

I am a mom of two and getting to the gym or going on hikes can be tricky. This stair climber makes it easy for me to get in a quality workout at home with my kids. It simulates a real hike and I get a great workout every time I use it.

I have been loving this machine! As a new mom I appreciate the quietness as it makes working out a lot easier! I was surprisingly easy to set up and has been a great strength trainer.

Super Stepper!

I’ve been really impressed by the NordicTrack Step Climber. It was really simple to put together, it probably took less than 2 hours for my husband to get it all assembled and fully set up. It has a really sleek design and doesn’t take up too much space. I am used to using the stepper machines at gyms but I like the movement of this one better.
I like that you don’t have to have an iFIT Membership or internet to use the machine. I was surprised when we first turned it on that I could immediately use it without signing in or setting up anything on the screen. The screen is a really good size and I feel like it responds pretty well. I have been using iFIT with the stepper but mainly for Netflix and Spotify. These have helped to distract me from the burn I get during the workout.
The workout on this machine is something else. I get a better workout in 5 minutes on this thing than I do in 20 minutes on the treadmill. My legs are burning within 2 minutes! It really does feel so good that I know it’s working. The fan is really powerful and helpful during these workouts. It has a good angle on it too. I’m about 5’7” and don’t have any problems using it.
Some things that I wish were different on it is that I really don’t like that you have to plug in the machine each time to use it. I wish it had an on/off switch in a spot that’s easier to get to. Our gym is a little tight so it’s a bit of a stretch to get it on or off. I also wish it had another spot to put my phone and AirPod case. The cup holder is great but I wish it had another type of compartment.
Overall, I really like this machine and the workout I get from it. I’m excited for my legs and butt to be toned in no time! This is an incentivized review, I have a family member who works for the brand but these are my honest thoughts and experiences.

Perfect Fit

I was a little hesitant getting this machine due to my experience in gyms with them. I did not like how big and bulky they were. This one fit perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better machine. The functionality of it is smooth. Definitely recommend. I was given this product at a reduced price in exchange of my honest review.

Nice stepper

The NordicTrack Step Climber is an interesting machine. I have used steppers in the past but didn’t like them because the motion was awkward. This one is really smooth. The resistance goes from 1 to 22 and 1 was a little light but 22 was impossible. I weigh north of 195 and couldn’t get the pedals to move in a full cycle. So, good range of resistance. The electronics have a track display that doesn’t make sense since it is a vertical motion. You can change the measure to feet of elevation which is more realistic but the basic workouts are still on a track display.
The handlebars have different positions to put your hands. Some of which articulate with the motion of the machine. As a 5’11” user, they were about the right height. The fixed bars on the sides had a weird placement that kinked my wrist when I tried to hold on there. I like the articulating arms though.
Assembly was easy. The directions were easy to follow. The unit is heavy so you might need a little help.
It has a NordicTrack app on the display that wants you to upgrade to a premium subscription. I didn’t do that, but the basic workouts were good. I am trying to increase my stamina for hiking.
Overall, solid machine, mostly good fit to grab handles and good resistance levels. Also smooth mechanism that I liked.

Great addition to our gym!

We are loving our step climber so far! It's basically an elliptical with a high step and I love that about it. It runs really smoothly, is very very sturdy and gives such a good workout in a short amount of time! Would reccommend!

Perfect for Busy Parents!

With two kids running around, I need something quick and easy to sneak in exercise. This step climber fits in the corner of our family room, and I use it while they play nearby. It's so easy to hop and climb for a few minutes whenever I can.

I was given this product for a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I love my step climber! This is the perfect low impact exercise that I truly look forward to. The machine is sleek in design, compact, and easy to use. Due to it being on the smaller side, it fits in the corner of our home gym perfectly. This is the perfect low impact exercise that will truly have you sweating!
