It does the job protecting the tablet, however the case is rather bulky and loose-fitting. What’s worse, its back panel blocks the passive heat exchange between the tablet body and the outside air. And it substantially increases the weight of the tablet; this makes it harder to use it on the lap with a magnetically attached keyboard, as the magnets are rather weak and the tablet tends to tip over. As I understand, the case is made by Targus on behalf of Lenovo. I’ve seen some excellent Targus cases in the past, but this model needs to be improved. In any case, this product is still very useful for professionals on the go: doctors, etc. And I’d like to commend Lenovo for releasing this niche product at an affordable price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bit bulky and clumsy looking. Makes the laptop look cheap but it is functional. It keeps the laptop safe from bumps and keeps the pen in place.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit and finish 3.5/5 as the x12 fits but not perfectly. Keyboard doesnt snap in evenly. Has some rough edges from manufacturing. Protection is good, its a bit bulky but will save your tablet from a small fall. No screen protection other than being raised past the surface level of the screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] that's the one i am looking for,one hand at back to hold the screen, the other hand control the screen. very nice to read the pdf and control the software.with this one I can detach the keyboard. only one thing is if hold too long the laptop will become little hot.
