This product does exactly what was intended for me. I plug my laser printer into it and now my computer which is on the same circuit does not get turned off. It does click when engaged, however this is just a minor inconvenience as it performs perfectly otherwise.
Pros: Compact, Great Protection
Cons: Clicks when engaged

I DJ and in one venue the electricity is questionable. My two mixers both shut down as a precaution and this was due to poor feed from the AC outlet. I now have peace of mind that this will no longer be a problem with my new TrippLite line conditioner. I use this in conjunction with a TrippLite surge protecting power strip.
