Great faucet, but a few caveats...

We've had this faucet installed in our kitchen sink for about 2 years now, and overall it's been fantastic! The auto -sensing operation has been reliable, dependable and leak-free, but we have had some relatively minor issues develop in the past few months.
First is the nozzle-head seems to continuously become clogged from within with minerals/residue, mind you, we do have a water softener, but this issue keeps recurring. Every 3-4 weeks I have to pour a small amount of CLR into the bottom of a coffee mug and place the end of the spray nozzle into the mug about 3 times, waiting 3-4 minutes between each application, then finally running the water through the nozzle to rinse. Problem solved! Until next time.
Second, the faucet developed a small leak at the junction between the control handle and the faucet body itself, after running any water for several seconds a small (1/2" - 1") puddle of water would pour out of the opening between the valve-handle and the faucet base.
Repairing/replacing the cartridge isn't overly difficult but will take you some time, tools and a little bit of know-how.
First (obviously,) shut off the water supply at the hot & cold shutoff valves under you sink. Not seeing any valves? You'll probably have to shutoff the entire home at the main shutoff, usually located in the vicinity of your water meter or wherever the freshwater line enter the structure. This would also be a great time to plug ALL of your sink drains so any small parts won't go bye-bye, you'll thank yourself later if one of them tries to escape!
Next, pry the little red/blue hot & cold indicator from the top of the control handle, I was able to use my finger nail to do so. Set it aside in a safe place, this thing will be easy to lose.
Just beneath this tiny plug is an approx. 1/16" hex-head barrel screw, back it out several turns with an Allen wrench, if it should come loose from the handle, DON'T let it fall out into the sink, ESPECIALLY if you didn't take my advice and cover/plug your sink drain(s) earlier! Once the barrel screw is sufficiently loosened, the handle should pull straight away to your right and separate from the faucet completely.
Once the handle is removed, you'll see the off-white control piece the handle had been attached to, a blue circular plastic "head" of the cartridge itself and a ring-shaped, sloping bezel surrounding the cartridge head.
Next, using only your hand, you should be able to rotate the ring-shaped bezel counter-clockwise (the top of the ring moving towards you if you're standing on the sensor-side of the faucet. Make sure the ring is dry and free of any grease, along with your hands being clean, will aid in having sufficient grip to rotate the ring.
With the bezel, removed, you're now looking at a retaining collar holding the entire cartridge in place within the faucet base. This retaining collar extends out of the faucet base and the threading you are seeing, which is what the ring-shaped bezel was screwed onto, is actually part of this retaining collar, this whole piece rotates to be removed from the faucet base.
Looking inside this retaining collar, you will see 4 small metal tabs, surrounding the blue plastic cartridge head, these are the removal/installation lugs. Now some of you with a full plumber's tool set may have a spanner capable of interfacing with any 2 opposing lugs and rotating the collar counter-clockwise and free of the faucet base, but for the rest of us, a small flat-head screwdriver (preferably an old one since the tip will likely get dinged up here) and a smaller hammer can be used to gently pound against one of the lugs until it begins to move. Once you have the collar broken-free, you can continue tapping the collar counter-clockwise until you are able to remove the collar entirely from the faucet-base.
At this point, the blue cartridge (see picture attached) should fairly easily be grasped and simply pulled free from the faucet base. Make sure you examine the faucet-side (flat side) of the cartridge and ensure the three-lobed gasket came out with the cartridge, otherwise you may have to pry it free from the cartridge base opening with your fingers or a small screwdriver. Clean the opening and especially the flat-face of the faucet base opening in preparation for your new cartridge.
This faucet takes a N35DW replacement cartridge, you'll want to liberally coat the flat side of the new cartridge (the side with the water openings) and the new 3-lobed gasket with high-quality silicone grease, making sure you don't plug the water openings with too much grease in the process. Use a toothpick or other small object to remove any excess grease from within these water channels, then place the new cartridge into the faucet base after lining up the water channels correctly. The cartridge should only enter easily in the correct orientation, if you're forcing it, stop and check your cartridge alignment.
I recommend applying more silicone grease to the threads on the retaining collar as well, this should ease removal and installation should you ever have to repeat this entire process in the future.
The grease you applied to the cartridge will probably hold the cartridge in place long enough to get that retaining collar started, but if not, you may have to hold the cartridge in place while you rotate the collar back into the faucet base. Once you're near the end of the collar's limit of travel, make sure the cartridge is still properly centered within the collar opening before tightening the collar down by hand. Now you can use the same small screwdriver and hammer to re-tighten the collar by tapping against the installation lugs within the collar, except this time in the opposite (clockwise) direction, of course. You want the retaining collar to be firmly tightened, but don't go crazy with it as you could overly distort that 3-lobed gasket between the cartridge and the faucet, or you could end up cracking the cartridge body itself, in which case you'll need to begin the whole procedure again except with another new replacement cartridge!
Next, apply more silicone grease to the inside-threads of the sloping ring bezel and replace it onto the retaining collar threads by rotating it clockwise until firm with hand-pressure only.
If your faucet handle set screw became fully removed from the handle when you removed the handle from the faucet, now is the best time to get it started back into the handle body. Place the barrel screw onto the end of the appropriate Allen wrench and pass the wrench and screw through the plug hole together until you're able to rotate the screw clockwise back into place within the handle, Make sure you don't fully seat the barrel screw yet, it should not be protruding into the rectangular opening where the cartridge stem is about to rest. Replace the faucet control handle onto the off-white plastic stem by pushing it firmly to the left over the stem until fully seated. Next, continue rotating the barrel screw clockwise using the Allen wrench until it is snug, do not use massive force here as you could crack the tip of the control stem within, forcing you to replace the cartridge yet again. Just make sure it's good and snug.
Finally, turn on your water control valves under the sink, checking for leaks at each valve and especially at the faucet base as you go (or turn the main water valve back on if you were forced to go that route.) Test the operation of the faucet for both hot, cold and mixed flows, monitoring for any leaks in the process. Let the faucet run for a few minutes and also let it stand in the off position (but with the auto sensing unit in the "flow" mode, i.e. activated) so you can monitor for leaks with no water leaving the spray head. If everything remains high & dry, you are finished!

Excellent with design issues

Got this beautiful faucet about 4 months back from Costco that works great too. However, it is must to note that it is putting the heating gas bill go up. When the hot and cold water is set to suit your liking and the faucet is turned off by the motion sensor it continues to mix the cold and hot water at the backend i.e. heating up the cold water line. In turn kicking the boiler to start cycle more often. Quick check .... feel the cold water pipe line down the sink that is heating up. I found that out when my water filter connected from under the sink into the cold water line started giving hot water to drink. It is creating shot circuit between cold & hot water lines. (Only when the lever is set to open (ON) & the tap is set to close (OFF) from the motion sensor). Now somehow very slow leak drop-by-drop has started near the operating lever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks nice, terrible hands free sensor though

Had this installed for about a week now. The installation is a breeze. The faucet looks nice, but the motion sensor is very aggrivating to use. It often takes 2-3 “waves” in front of it before it actually activates. This leads to overall disappointment with the faucet as I purchased it for its motion sensor/hands free capabilities.

looks good but...

I purchased this facet based on other reviews.
like one other review, the head would not retract once it was pulled down unless being pulled down from under the cabinet. Nothing was obstructing the hose, it just would not retract. Not even with extra weights.
I will say the product is good looking quality. Most disappointing as I will now have to pay a plumber again for the next one to be installed.

I bought this faucet when we did our kitchen remodel. It is awesome. Easy installation, great features and actually fun to use! I chose it because I love to cook and the hands-free feature is perfect. I definitely recommend this faucet.
