Perfect size and great features

I was in the market to replace an older Garmin watch and after a lot of research I narrowed it down to the Instinct 2 and the Instinct 2s. Both had the features that I wanted and were at the price I was looking for. The 2 ended up being the perfect fit for my 7” wrist. Small enough that it doesn’t stand out at the office, yet big enough to easily read. Honestly, when comparing the 2 and 2s, the distance between the lugs looks about the same, but the face and the band are much smaller on the 2s. Obviously the band is replaceable, but the screen on the 2s felt small. I’m really enjoying this watch and expect to have it for many years.

I'm happy about my purchase I wanted to get the instinct 2x tactical black color but it was out of my price range but the regular instinct 2 graphite is a great purchase and best watch I've ever had

I’ve been using it for a little over a year now. It’s super comfy and durable. It has plenty of fantastic features. I do wish the lock/unlock feature was a little better. I have to keep the watch locked 24/7 because of a tendency to accidentally hit buttons but when I need to repeatedly use the watch it will automatically lock after a couple of minutes.

I replaced my solar instinct 1 with a regular instinct 2, and the difference is wonderful. It is more sensitive in reading movements, interface is more detailed and reporting is equally detailed.
Long live Garmin!
