Missing some functions

I bought this instinct 2 thinking I would still get all of my notifications sent to it to alert me but for some reason text messages from an iPhone will not push through to the watch. So I can’t give it a five star because I had expected this function.

Great for the Outdoor worker

Purchased the watch a couple days ago with hesitation coming from an apple watch. Apple watch would not hold up working in construction and needed something more durable. The instinct 2 does everything I needed it to do with my iPhone. The instinct shows me who is calling, texting, all notifications and even shows the music i have playing from my phone. I cant wait to wear it to work.

Battery and step counter issues

Bad buy, hard to use and now 2 weeks in, I have had to send the watch back to Garmin as the battery goes in less than a day.

Allow programmable alerts

Please allow abnormal heart high level alert threshold value custom configuration, and not just between 100 and 200. I need to set alarms, but not for sports. Say I need a limiter on my old heart...the watch works great. It only lacks the lower threshold configuration. Could you patch it up for me, or I'll have to find another solution. As I studied your instruction manual, I was satisfied about the alarms high and low, so I bought the watch. I was surprised I couldn't set a high alert threshold value lower than 100. I'm old, shouldn't go so fast. Thanks for your beautiful watch, I hope you can fix my special need. I don't really need to publish this view, you can if you wish. But I'd be grateful if your watch, with its trusted sensor, would help prolong the health of my heart by letting Me set the threshold values. Actually just once I could configure a 90 heart high alert value, not on the connect app, but on the watch. The alarm felt right, and loud enough. Unfortunately, I couldn't find again a custom threshold configuration.

Loved the features but face is too small

There's much to love with this watch but I found that the watch face and the small icons were just too compact and small for me to see, especially while exercising.

Not happy

Got this fot a birthday present so thankfully didnt pay for it. Am returning it to the giver,so they can get a refund. Hard to put on, difficult to navigate, cant really read it unless you take it off, screen is to small to use effectively, not user friendly. Subsequently I am no longer using it.

This seriously helps me do AARs after running to let me know what pace we did and if we need to slow down or not, I love this watch.
