Love this watch! First garmin watch ever always had g shock or Luminox decided to try something new and am seriously impressed with all the abilities from weather to phone connections etc. love this watch and plan on being a return customer after this!

Outdoor Friendly for Novice Smart Watch User

I am an outdoor enthusiast and this is my first smart watch. I wanted something rugged and with features for the outdoors with less emphasis on staying in constant communication. This fits my needs perfectly with outdoor info like the ABC, temp, weather, etc. fitness stats are helpful and aiding some lifestyle changes. Rugged - within 2-days I was scuba diving to 100’, lathering on sunscreen, and generally roughing up the watch. Held up like a champ and now it my go-to for fitness, outdoor adventures, and the day-to-day. Opted to pass on the solar and battery life has been stellar > 10-12 days.

Great battery life and multi sport tracking

Does all that I used my Vivoactive 4 for, but using less energy and with better swim tracking. One does give up color screen and touch screen control. Two drawbacks: (a) I wish it had local calendar storage like my Pebble watch did, years ago, and (b) I need reading glasses now, so a larger, higher definition screen would be helpful.

I love the fact I can look at my watch over fumbling for my alpha 100 and/or Pro 550.
