Great sturdy Watch

It’s great watch excellent watch for outdoors and workouts.
One suggestion is to add LTE with calling features to Garmin even it takes more battery consumption that’s great. You can easily be beset smart watch products

No more apples for me

This watch has replaced my apple watch se and I'm OK with that. I love how it feels like a standard digital watch while having all of the smart functions I need/want. Best upgrade I could say for me was nylon velcro bands from Garmin as it is more comfortable and adjustable.

Battery last a long time!!!

The battery on this watch is awesome. I get emails and texts and still last 28 days. I do not use the GPS function. Ton of info you get as well.

I bought this a couple weeks ago after using fitbit for the past couple years, this thing is amazing has so many cool features and looks great. I'm a commercial fisherman here in oregon so I was in need of something durable that will hold up in the elements. Have no doubt that it will last. Only thing I don't like is the sleep feature seems to not be that accurate compared to my fitbit but it doesn't really matter still a Amazing watch highly recommend.

Good Upgrade from INSTINCT (gen. 1)

I hesitated to buy the INSTINCT 2 to replace my perfectly functioning INSTINCT. But very happy I did. There are some significant. Upgrades.
* Battery life is 3 weeks rather than 36 hours.
* I can now monitor sleep since I don’t have watch charging overnight.
* INSTINCT 2 records heart rate underwater in pool and open water swims. Now I can see how much time I am in each of the 5 training zones.
* uses new features on the CONNECT app.
Additionally, I was very happy that I just added the new watch to the CONNECT app and the app collects all data from both watches.
With all the wearables on the market it was hard to decide which is best for me. Because of the activities that it monitors, heart rate, sleep, steps, intensity minutes it monitors the things that I want and my doctor says to watch for my health. Overall, a great upgrade from gen. 1 INSTINCT!

I bought the instinct 2 and it wouldn’t read my heart rate or sleep score. So I bought the runner 165 and it doesn’t track my heart rate either or sleep score. I’m very unsatisfied with both Garmin I’ve bought.

Perfect GPS smartwatch at a reasonable price

I bought the Garmin Instinct 2 primarily for the GPS functionality for recording walks and hikes. I am finding it useful for weather conditions and stress levels.
