Great training watch

I'd been a Polar guy for a long, long time, but I was unhappy with my last two watches from them, so I tried the Instinct 2. I couldn't be happier. The battery life is fantastic and it didn't take that long to figure out how to navigate. I'm a big guy, so I like the big face. Also, the included watch band fits and is secure. I wish it had a few more pre-programmed activities, though. I play hockey in the winter, and it didn't have that as an activity. Luckily, it's easy to make your own custom sports. Same thing with disc golf. The mountain bike and xc skiing things work fine. I like the sleep tracker and all the other functions. I like that it's not touch screen. My last two watches were. I'd be driving down a bumpy road and my wrist would be lighting up like a rave, but when I wanted to know what time it was, I'd have to start a break dance routine to get it to turn on. With the Instinct 2, it's always on, so I just need to look. Brilliant!

Better than Fitbit

After my Fitbit just randomly stopped working. It would just restart, that's it. This was after having it for a year after their recall on the last Fitbit I had. So kinda upset at this point, but purchasing the Instinct 2 I wish I would have bought from Garmin in the first place. It has more features, longer battery life, less app issues or connections not working. Haven't had any "bugs" like I had with my fitbit. So far I love it!!!

Apple to Garmin

I am glad to have switched from Apple to Garmin. This is a far better fitness watch and the battery anxiety is a thing of the past! I wish I knew how to make a repeat sprint workout, but other than that, it’s awesome. The morning report is surprisingly valuable with the workout readiness and sleep reports being my favorite. I also like that its focus is not a smartwatch. I enjoy having the fitness and stats on my wrist and my phone on my phone… and not a mixup of both.

Having a blast with my Garmin Instinct 2 fitness tracking watch, I appreciate the lengthy battery life and durable build of the device and it's super comfortable on my wrist also. A definite must-have of a device!!!
