Wasn't sure at first..

My son gave me this watch for Christmas. He is a U.S Marine, and he has the same watch. I wore a Samsung galaxy watch for years and it was starting to get beat up. When my Son gave this watch I wasn't loving it at first. It took my awhile to get used to not having a touch screen. I still struggle with the buttons and seeing the screen. After wearing since Christmas I now love this watch. It is comfortable to wear even while sleeping. It definitely keeps better track of health data. The app is also better than the Samsung app.

What a great app!!

I have a Samsung Smart watch that was great. I upgraded to the Garmin watch, which is blah, but has a good app. The watch itself is very underwhelming, it apparently has GPS, but I don't see where that feature is used in the app. I do receive text messages on the watch, but you can't read them as the display is of ancient origins. I enjoy using the Steps, and Sleeping features, which I will continue to use, but I see a replacement for this soon.

I got this for Christmas and am very impressed with all of the different things that it does great battery compared to Apple Watches lasts 30 days! Love it!

Amazing, discovered quantitatively malices alchol

Yep, this masterpiece continously monitor ur vitals. Showed me that while and the day after drinking alcohol ur heart is under stress. Also, the sleep history. I use it while biking and weights. Guys, my hat goes off for the software and all engineers, quality team that made this work of art happen. If I knew u engineers personally i would take u for a boat ride in the Gulf of Mexico here in FL for ur efforts. Thank u

Great watch

Love the watch, with a few exceptions. Battery is great, had a lot of different sports features over my old watch. Had a Garmin 735. On the new watch the band is not as comfortable as my old (near the watch edge.) Also the buttons are a little harder to use or get used to. Haven't had a chance to use all the features but so far so good.

Great health 'tracker'

Although I don't do a bunch of the typical "fitness" activities, I very much appreciate being able to get an overall picture of my heart health and when it would be wise for me to slow down as I care for my aging body.

Great upgrade at a great price

Replaced a Vivoactive 3 and loving the buttons (surprised). Easily get over a week of battery with daily GPS activities. Meets all my needs at a great price.

I'm a watch destroyer. After millions of steps and thousands of floors I killed three watches over the last three years. Research showed Garmin Instinct 2 was a great device and here I am. Ask me the same question in 6 months because it's a challenge to see if the tech can keep up with me.
