I’m still learning it and would love to find a watch face that maintains the seconds at night. I’m night shift EMS and that’s my only complaint. Everything else is kick butt.

My new Garmin Watch

I received this Garmin Instinct 2 watch as a gift. The watch is very light weight, fits my wrist very well, and the "back light" allows me to read the watch face at night.
It was difficult at first to program the watch, but I have the tutorials that help me a lot.
I am happy with my new Garmin Instinct 2 Watch.

Always works, a little complicated.

The interface is overly convoluted, but once you figure out what you need it for its OK. I want it to monitor heart rate and my Fitbit would often take 10-15 seconds to get right. and sometimes never did (read 80 when I know it was ~140)
And Instinct2 display is always on so I can glance down (on my mt bike) to check it.
So, it works better. you have to tell it when you start an activity (and they cover up the only indicator to let you know you've successfully started) and then tell it when you stopped. Even though it knows what you are doing. I don't like that.
Turning off notifications was ridiculously hard. Too many places... on the phone, on the watch. But now that they are silenced I like this watch.
And the battery lasts more than a week even with 4 rides a week.

Operating manual is not very informative

I received the instinct2 for a Christmas gift,it took me to long to set up do to the manual not having much information to help me.
