I bought this to replace my 310XT. It has waaaay more features than I think I’ll ever use, but it’s nice to have so many options. Easy set-up once you figure out which button does what. I printed the instructions, and 100+ pages is a little much for a watch, but they are very detailed and everything is in there. Overall A-

Replacing my Vivoactive 3 with this watch and was not sure on how I would feel about the lack of Touch screen. LOOVVVVEEE IT! Outdoor GPS is great but that is to be expected from a Garmin. Love the features and REALLY LOVE the treadmill accuracy. NOticed the other day at 5 miles that it hit 5 miles the same exact time my treadmill did. Wowsers. I do wish it was slightly bigger but I am probably in the minority but, that is not a negative. Just a me issue.

Just what the doctor ordered

As one who works outdoors and alone a lot of the time I needed a durable watch I could count on. Additionally, health issues require a need to monitor HR and O2. This watch fit the bill on paper. Now having worn it for a few weeks, what I read was just the beginning. The buttons allow usage with gloves on and the alert feature is a comfort to my wife. I like the length of battery life! Nothing but praise. I’ve told several men this is the watch for them.

It's fantastic

I've had it for about a month. So far so good. I mtb, road bike, hike, and jog. It has worked flawlessly. Time will tell but I'm hopeful for a long service life.

Great Watch!

After several years as a FitBit user, I went back to Garmin. I don't regret it in the least! This is by-far the best fitness/GPS capable watch that I've owned. Wonderful!

Had the watch for a few weeks now and really like the face options and the features for activities. Us old fat guys trying to relive our 20’s wish we would have had this technology back then. It is easy to use no need to have a degree from MIT. Used it working out, a couple bike rides and short hikes. Can’t wait to get to use it golfing, kayaking and fishing this summer. Good product would definitely recommend it.

Great Feautures!

I upgraded from the Forerunner 735XT. I love the updated sleep tracking and so many activities are already preloaded. My biggest compliant is I can't figure out how to get the battery into a percentage versus it telling me in days.

Great Functionality and Look

I bought this about a month ago and am loving the various features that the watch and app offer. You know you're not getting a fully functioning touchscreen, but the button functionality is way easier to navigate than I anticipated. There was not much of a learning curve at all for me to start workouts or runs or set up the features the way I wanted them. I have not yet found much value in the widgets through the ConnectIQ, but it is good to know that the Instinct2 has those features available (unlike the Instinct1). We have done lots of runs and bootcamp-style workouts, and the heart rate and tracking for maps is very smooth.
