This is 3rd chair we have owned 1st one the bolt holding arm in place snapped. 2nd chair the hydraulic that keeps the seat height up gave out. We will see how long this one lasts. We have bought the $20 warranty on all the chairs so filed a claim for each an they sent e-card to pay for the replacement. We haven't been rough on the chairs they aren't made to hold up for years.
I think this chair being more that the Vartan is absurd. It’s a lesser chair. It has worse cushions the back is mesh instead of padded and offer NO lumbar support without the uncomfortable lumbar pillow. The Vartan solves these problems. I like the padded arm rest but the a 3D adjustments on the Vartan far out weight that. It also has no tilt (rocking) which the Vartan has. The only reason I can fathom this cost more is the foot rest. I will admit I wish the Vartan had a footrest. Add a footrest and keep the tilt and you can toss this chair Staples. It’s a waste of material. Go to the store and test these chairs. I’m f a footrest isn’t a deal breaker for you you’ll choose the Vartan. Get an ottoman.
The back piece doesn’t sit right definitely a quality control issue. This is causing me back pain as I am not sitting right. I would give a 5 star in case Staples replaces it with a better one.
