it’s a very good and functional chair however, the fabric rather the fake leather that they manufactured it out of is so cheap that I had a heating pad on my back and it burned right through the lower lumbar support
Great gaming chair, pain in the rear to put together, but great once it was all together
I would recommend this to a friend!

Seemed OK at first, was uncomfortable later

I bought this because it was affordable and had the cushion seat and mesh back I was looking for. It seemed comfortable when I sat in it at the store and felt fine the first few months I had it. After purchase, the base mechanism started creaking and popping (loudly) within a few weeks and Emerge was able to send me a replacement quickly. After using it for work (8+ hours a day) the seat started to feel less comfortable than it should as time went on. The "lumbar pad" that comes with it is obnoxiously large and doesn't help with back support unless you like not using the backrest of the chair. When reclining, the chair seat doesn't recline, so you sit at a weird angle. The armrests don't adjust to height or position, which wasn't helpful. I rarely used the leg rest and found it to be more of a gimmick than useful. After just over a year, I ended up replacing the chair with a much higher quality one from a different brand because I couldn't take how much physical discomfort this chair was causing my backside and my back. I wouldn't recommend it except for maybe short periods of usage of maybe 2 hours or less per day.
