Works well with larpte 2018 iPad Pro

I bought this to provide connectivity to my new iPad Pro and it does exactly that. HDMI and USB 3 ports just work. The one that surprised me was the Ethernet port: plug it in and it just works!

The Usb-C port doesn't seem to work for external HD

I bought this as a cure-all for my laptop which has one 1 usb 3.0 port and 1 usb-c port. Hoping to hook up multiple usb 3.0 devices + 1 usb C HD (samsung T5 1TB). This drive works on my computers usb-c, but not on the usb c in the hub

I expected this to have more than one USB C port, but it only has one to replace the one it takes up. A second one would make it much more useful with accessories.

Barely stays connected to ports, does not connect flush to macbook and doesn't recognize any device. Absolutely terrible item do not buy throwing away money.

Ethernet Port Very Flimsy

I have (2) of these that worked as advertised for about a month. However, after just a handful of cord inserts/removals, both are now very iffy re: RJ45 Ethernet port physical connectivity. The flip up part is plastic (vs. rest of hub that is aluminum) and seems to easily get worn out. Rubber bands and/or tape needed now to keep RJ-45 plug on ethernet cable firmly seated into hub. If you plan to use Ethernet, then do NOT plug/unplug often into the hub or it will fail. IF cable left in hub and hub is removed from laptop only, you should be OK.
