Huge Upgrade!

I received these knives as a wedding present and was so excited for them. This is a huge upgrade from my previous knife set. Beautiful knives that cut through foods like butter. I did notice the slots in the knife block are slightly large for the knives, but this isn't really a concern for me. The block footprint on my counter is smaller than my old set, even with more knives, which is a big plus for me in a smaller apartment kitchen. Very excited for many years of cooking with these!

Knived are beautiful and wicked sharp. Only 4 stats because the knife block has an extra missing spot for a knife and they dont fit very well.

Thank you for your review and for your feedback. We are so sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with your storage block. The extra slot is to accommodate an extra Knife that would not come in the set. The size of the slots allows for enough room to remove the Knives in and out of the Storage Block safely and to keep allowing airflow around them therefore no bacteria can grow. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us by email at hello@zwillingus.com
