I use Tripp Lite products throughout our home. All of the surge protectors and the computer system UPS are built with quality materials that hold up well over the years. I've had this surge protector for a couple years now. It still looks new and works great.

I use the product to protect my home computers, modems, printers and security system. I even use this product to protect the circuit boards in my new smart AC and furnace system . In the event of a power failure or power spike I am fully protected. This product has the potential to protect my very important files and system data. If you don't have one of these you then you should buy one. I have three of these in various locations throughout my house. I feel fully protected.

I bought this from "New(what comes before chicken).com" because I needed a surge protector with a long cord, as part of a cord management scheme I was designing. The product itself has a nice heavy duty (quality feel) 12' cord and smooth/clean plugin body. I literally just received this product so I cannot attest to its longevity, but the price was right and the reviews on the retailers site were excellent. $25,000 warranty coverage of connected equipment is excellent. 5-Stars.
