Worst ups ever

Bought multiple units of these, 1 was swapped shortly after purchase as doa, there is no easy way to configure basic things such as power sensitivity unless you use powerchute, units don't switch back to mains on power coming back on

Can we get firmware documentation???

Why can I not find any documentation or release notes for the firmware on this device anywhere???
You have release notes for other UPS devices.
You provide links in your smartconnect.apc.com site for other lines of UPS but the documentation for this device is missing.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

This is the worst thing APC has ever made. Avoid this model like the PLAGUE. My company has purchased 11 of these over time, and now, never again. Over the past 3 years, I have had to RMA TEN of these devices. TEN. They send me replacements, then within a year THOSE die.
PS: If you somehow manage to get this device to last long enough that the battery would need replaced. YOU CAN'T! Replacement batteries are not sold ANYWHERE and will never be (for some reason APC can't explain). A whole new unit must be purchased. 0/10. Turn around, run, never look back. These devices should have been recalled at this point!

At Schneider Electric we take customer concerns very seriously and as so, our Quality Engineers monitor the products' performance in the field very closely. At this time, there are no known field issues related to this unit. Further, we are also experiencing a national wide materials shortage which has affected our stock for the replacement batteries. This is the reason as well why we offer replacement unit at the moment, in case of replace battery warranty claim.

This is a professional made product. I like the fact that the lithium ion battery is user replaceable (and lightweight) making for a long lasting product. Warranty is excellent too!

*THIS* is the future for small rack mounted UPSes!

Yet another addition to the expanding offering of APC Li-Ion UPSes, this is the smallest, at only 400W / 500VA, However, it offers nearly 13 minutes of runtime at 100W load, which is probably about average for what most users will experience. With nearly 2x the battery life compared to lead acid, the TCO is extremely attractive. The short mounting depth of 9” and small 1 rack unit height make this UPS perfect for switches fiber fiber entrance WAN applications. Switched outlet group control (6 - NEMA 5-15R) allows for application specific settings, thresholds and notifications. A standard 5 year repair or replace warranty and SmartConnect® accessibility seals the deal, at least for me. *THIS* is the future for small, rack mounted UPS models!

This is a GREAT little 500VA Rackmount UPS with fantastic battery life and remote management via SmartConnect software. Highly recommended!
