This was a replacement (upgrade) for a home-office chair that had been pushed to its limits. The spiffier new model is comfortable has me at a much better ergonomic state and (unfortunately) spending too much time in it.
It is fairly comfortable but could use more padding in the seat. It only reclines about 5 inches - I would like about twice that much. It seems to be built sturdily: the base and arms are made of metal instead of the usual plastic. The suggested weight limit of 275 is way more than my scarce 215 pounds but when I sit down it seems to make kind of a light cracking noise so that makes me feel like I need to sit into the chair slowly and use the arms to lower down so that it doesn't break! One nice thing is that the seatback is higher than some others so that I can lean my head back on it somewhat; I am 6 foot 2 so that is not bad. Overall pretty good we will have to see if the seat breaks but it does have a 7 year mfr warranty so I guess I can call them if the seat needs to be replaced. Gotta hang onto that receipt!
