The height and tilt controls work fine too. I love the chair. The only problem I had was that the screws were mislabeled making it frustrating to assemble. Once I took a break and then noticed that the labels for the packets the screws came in didn't match the color labels on the screws it was easy correct this mistake and assemble the chair.

Just assembled and seems fine and at a good price. Those who complain that store assembly is poor should just do it themselves if they want it done right. Great assembly guide....back is the most difficult to attach because of the cushions.
