I wanted a basic "uncomplicated" chair. This has a faux leather feel that is very soft. It slides smoothly across carpet areas. It spins easily around. I chose to leave the arms off of it as they tend to get in my way when I duck into and out of the chair. The back is tall enough to support my shoulder blades but not my head and neck. There is no lumbar support although the seat angle is adequate without it. Haven't had it long enough to know about long-term durability but it seems to be solid enough.

This chair is really great! It's nice and comfy and it really supports your back and arms and legs. It has several adjustments so you can make it very comfortable for yourself.The instructions for assembly along with needed tool and screws made it relatively easy to do.

Liked the chair however it was not the one I ordered. Ordered the black but they sent the gray. Still like it. Was harder for my to put together since I have arthritis in my hands so took a little longer. Instructions could be a little more easier to read but by trial and error got it together. On the whole nice chair. Haven't had it long so hope it works as long as it says on the product reviews.
