The synthetic leather is thin and already has a hole in it where it occasionally rubs against my desk. At least once a day I sit in the chair and it drops to the lowest seat height. The cushion started breaking down within the first week and I've developed back problems due to lack of support. I am only 5'6" and 140lbs. If this chair can't hold up under my weight I don't think it would work for many.

I sat on every chair in the store and was surprised to find this to be more comfortable than most of the more expensive chairs big or small. This chair was a breeze to assemble. I did not want the arms on so left them off of it. I am very happy with my purchase.
