Overall chair is a good value for the price. Easy to assemble however I do have two comments. The arms attached easily enough but the alignment of the screws to the holes seemed to be slightly off on one arm. Perhaps this was due to the fact the the part of the arm that attaches under the seat did not seem to sit as flush as the other one which attached with less effort. Nothing major maybe a manufacturing issue. There are grooves that screws fit through to attach the arms however they seem to be a little wide. The washer on the screw is barely wider than the groove. You need to make sure the screw/washer is centered otherwise the washer might fall into the groove. In this case either a narrower groove or larger washer is needed. Finally the front half of the seat (under your thighs) has more cushioning than the back half. When I sit on the chair I can feel the metal base through the cushioning against my butt. Eventually I'll need additional cushioning/padding.
I tried all office chairs at Staples (including far more expensive ones) and found this the most comfortable though not as comfortable as my old chair that finally collapsed. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. The seat has more padding than most but it's soft padding. I may need to add a cushion later.
This is a comfortable chair especially for the reasonable price. The instructions for assembly leave a lot to be desired but I eventually figured it out. The instruction book is too dim to get a good picture of what to do.
