I bought this chair because I needed a chair with adjustable armrests for my home office. I have pain in my right thumb and arm because I spend a lot of time designing and at my computer. For a long time I thought that I needed one of those high back chairs with the headrest. But who actually needs that? If you are working at your desk; you shouldn't be reclining. I needed a chair that was supportive and would take the strain off of my shoulder and arm. This chair has tons of support in the right places. I am a bigger person and am very happy with this for the price and I've owned LOTS of chairs in my time. BUY IT! You won't be disappointed.

I tried out in the store and seemed to lift a lot higher. This is for use at a kitchen table so must lift high and have arms that have a slot to go over table.

I am enjoying this chair it’s comfortable and the arms even fit under my desk when they are in the lower position. I use it in my combination office/craft room. It swivels easily so I can reach things that are next to the desk without having to get up. I recommend this chair to anyone who is looking for comfort in a chair even though it is not a high backed chair.
