I had an older "Executive" chair and the "leather" started fading/tearing after 9 years and it was just to soft and not as supportive as it should have been.. With the arms I couldn't get close enough to the desk to use the PC properly. Got this chair and I was going to take the arms off so I could get closer to the desk but didn't have to as the arms are shorter. But at least I have the option to remove them if need be. But most important is the "feel" sitting in this chair - very supportive especially in back area. Very comfortable chair. Too bad it doesn't come in dark brown.

Overall chair leather material is soft and comfy but I was not happy with the height of the chair. I thought it can higher with that gas casket but it did not fulfill my purpose height wise but chair is comfortable to sit on. Thanks

I was down to the insertion and tightening of the last 2 screws but it was not to be. The channels for the screws were loose and misaligned - thus they just spun and spun and spun never tightening. No Traymore Luxura Managers Chair Black for me - looking to find one that is more finely constructed.
