I’ve purchased 3 of these for my house in the past 3 months. One for my sewing desk and 1 for my husband’s desk and one for my girls room for distant learning. The one that I have is great The 2 that I bought for my husband and girls BOTH popped at the seat seams within 2 wks of purchase. One I had insurance for and was able to replace and bought the 3rd one which had the same issues. So if you buy this product make sure to buy the warranty in case you have the same issues. As for the Traymore I use for sewing. “Knock on wood” I’ve had it for 4 months and the seams haven’t popped yet.
Chair is ok was thinking it was a little more comfortable when I sat in it at the store. There is 1 screw in putting on the arm that will not go all the way in all the rest were fine.
First problem the chair arrived 3 days late from when I was told it would arrive. When It arrived I assembled it then brought it into My computer room. The minute I sat in it I noticed the chair was giving off a horrible smell of chemicals . From the material it was made from to the glue that help hold it together. After 5 minutes I developed a headache and the chair had to be removed. Im hoping that if I let it sit outdoor for a while maybe a month of so the smell will go away. I dont know if a higher priced chair would have had the same problem however I would imagine they probably all do. The only plus is the chair is comfortable that is why I purchased it. I really should return it however I cant afford more expensive chair and that may not even solve the problem. I would have preferred going to a used item store but they are all closed. In general I like Staples however this issue was due to the manufacturer not staples.
