Perfect for people with a bad back. I’ve sat in 50 different chairs at different stores. This one is a winner if you have a bad back. The chair back has an upright position. When I sit down my back rest on the back of the chair. I do not have to scoot back to find the chair back. The seat cushion is padded which alleviates sciatica. The chair looks like the picture exactly. This chair is not huge. It is called a (managers chair). It is not an executive chair. Easy to move around in. The rollers are smooth making it easy to glide across the floor. It has a lever which raises and lowers your seat level. I love the chair. I recommend it.

Good lower back position cushions are firm but not hard

Bought this as a gift for someone who sits at a home office for a good portion of the workday. Tried all the chairs in two different office supply companies. I have since used the chair myself for a couple hours at a time I feel fine getting out of it after. I do have back problems so that is saying something! This one had the best seating position for someone who can’t pay $300 for the aero chair. It helps if you don’t want to lean back far constantly. Other chairs seemed made for those who slouch more. This chair keeps you in a good seating position provided you adjust the tilt to your liking. The person receiving the chair likes a more upright position. Seat cushions have good “give” to them the material is dense enough that you don’t feel the frame coming through. A few other chairs seemed way too thin on the material. This one feels like it will hold up well over time. The back is not tall enough to provide any neck or head support. Don’t try to nap in this one! I would buy another for myself it seems that good.
