This chair is OK for the price but uncomfortable. Seat padding is stiff and chair has no lumbar support. Seat depth (front edge to base of backrest) is long making it awkward to lean backwards since your lower back is not in contact with the backrest. Maybe won't be an issue for people with longer upper legs. Otherwise the quality is acceptable for this price range looks good and easy to assemble.

After putting the chair together the back was crooked and the tensioner would not allow the chair to lean back sufficiently. Yes. It was unlocked. I believe this is a design flaw. The seat should be bolted further back on the base. It is uncomfortable because you cannot sit straight and cannot lean back.
