It is a soft leather chair. I like all the extra padding in the important areas. Like the knees and back.

Extremely comfortable and so easy to put together. I watched a YouTube video that gave a couple of hints which helped. I bought 2 chairs. I put the first one together in under 45 minutes and the second one in 20 minutes. I highly recommend this chair.

The wheels on this chair are cheap and it does not roll across my office floor easily. I may actually return it because it is so bad.
