This chair is replacing one very much like it that I had for 5 - 6 years until the fake leather finally gave out and started to shred - which I expect this one will eventually do as well. But to get several years of use for less than a hundred dollars (on sale) for a chair used almost daily is a great deal - especially when it looks really good and is very comfortable. My son assembled it for me and said the directions were easy to follow. I highly recommend this product.
