Its a pretty good chair. Most of my grievances are with the lumbar support cushion though which is very important to me as i am an artist and I sit at my desk doing work for hours at a time and i need good lumbar. The cushion is too far low into the seat. It pushes into my lower back instead of fitting to the natural curve of my spine. It does adjust but it never says where you adjust it and it falls to the bottom within seconds of you sitting in the chair. I had to super glue it into the highest position. And for anyone curious im not a tall guy im 5'6 so its not an issue of me being "too tall" for the lumbar. The head rest is great tho and it's a comfortable chair. Really a shame the back support cushion is lacking because otherwise would be a fantastic chair
I sat in this chair at Staples prior to purchasing online. For the chair I received I was unable to adjust the headrest as it was in the store. It sits too low and does not support my neck but rather sits on the top of my back therefore preventing the chair from supporting my back appropriately. I’m a little under 5’8. However my 6’2 boyfriend thinks the chair is comfortable so maybe I’m just the oddball here! Either way it’s not comfortable enough for me to sit in for long periods of time which I do for work so I’ll be returning.
Like many reviewers the headrest digs into my shoulder blades. I threw a sweatshirt over it and that helped but obviously not perfect. You can just use the chair without a headrest but tilting back without it puts a serious strain on my neck. I’m 6’3 though so there’s that. My fiancée is 5’6 and it’s a good height for her.
My wife got this chair to help with neck problems. It was easy to assemble and a necessary tool was included. That was a nice touch. Help with neck problems too early to tell.

Not made with taller people in mind...

I'm 5' 8" (not overly tall) and the lumbar adjustment is limited so it was pressing in my back - not where I wanted it to. And the head rest adjustment is also limited so it didn't raise high enough and was hitting and rubbing my shoulders. I read all the good reviews but also the negative and should've listened too the negative w/regards to not being made to accommodate taller people. I returned and purchased a different chair - Carder - much happier - skipped the headrest.
I really like the chair but it looks like some parts were refurbished. The base if the chair has scratches and marks. If I'm playing for a new chair I expect a new chair. I had already put all the parts out of the box and I didnt want to repack it all and take it to the store so I kept it but I wouldnt buy again from staples.
