I will be returning the chair. It really is very uncomfortable to sit in unless you have it locked in to one position. If the chair is completely in upright position it puts your back in a forward leaning posture which also makes the headrest push your neck and forward even more.
This is my second Hyken chair; the first lasting 6-7 years with daily work-from-home use. I find it comfortable for the full day. On both chairs I removed the head rest: at 5’ 10” it cannot be positioned high enough.
It’s a comfortable chair fairly easy to adjust. Assembly was a snap although it took me a couple extra minutes to attach the headrest without someone to hold it in place.
