The armrest surface is hard. Resting my arms there for a couple of hours I get burns and tingling. The armrest material has wear and tear within a few months/Rest of the chair other than the armrest is a good investment.

My growing teenager picked it out for the ergonomic design and the cool mesh because he gets hot easily. He put it together by himself and was already using it when I got home. He loves it but I noticed he ended up taking the head rest out - perhaps it's too high for his current 5'6" frame. Looks good and sturdy though!
