Get money borrow if you have to and invest in a good chair. This chair is too narrow. The plastic sides dig into your legs. The headrest does not stay in the desired position. It drops from it on its own. Once you recline it's really the only time you are actually comfortable and that's only because your body weight is mostly in the reclined position. Once you are in the upright position all your weight bearing down onto the mesh basically having it bottom out not entirely but enough to wear the plastic sides dig into the sides of your legs. And if you lock the chair in the upright position I am only 5 ft 8 in tall and my legs are too far forward off of the front of the seat. In that position and sitting in that manner the chair feels as if it was made for a child. Returning it first chance I get.

Very attractive very comfortable very sturdy. Truly a chair to settle into. I particularly appreciate the sliding lumbar back support. And the medium gray tones go perfectly with my decor. My only criticism is that for my anatomy at least the headrest is placed too far back for me to comfortably rest my head against. I'd rate this chair 4½ stars if I were able.

My wife's back was hurting when working. Our son bought one of these and said it was very comfortable so we bought one. Immediately helped reduce my wife's back pain because of the great lumbar support and head rest. Mesh is better for temperature control. Very easy to assemble with clear pictorial instructions. Seems to be very solidly built. Charcoal color is a good compromise to show less dust etc. Highly recommended.

Overall this is a good sturdy and comfortable chair. The lumbar support could use a bit longer and adjustment rail and it just fits me at the top of the rail so anyone taller that 6' may not be able to get it positioned quite right. The lowest height is a bit high for people who are short-legged as the lowest height is about perfect for me. the build quality is solid and the fabric seems durable. I like the ridge on the base above the castors. I almost always have my foot resting on it and it does provide a comfortable resting position. the multi-angle lock is great for the back when you need to adjust your position but still want solid support!
