I think these are going to be fantastic home office chairs. So far have been happy with everything about them: on-schedule delivery very well packaged with the best assembly instructions (English speaker written color coded bolts) I’ve ever seen. It took about 40 minutes to put the first chair together but only 20 minutes for the second - I’m trainable! We purchased these chairs because we had tested out dozens in multiple stores and didn’t like any of them. Then we walked into a Staples store sat down in two Hyken chairs and my wife and I looked at each other and immediately said “These are great!” Ergonimically sound adjustments and an especially good lumbar support for your back. Components were very solid - indeed heavy - and the mechanisms looked quite durable. The chairs have a modern look and the grey mesh matches our desks and bookshelves (purchased at Scandinavian Design Denver). Long-term concern about durability of mesh but we’ll see.

The chair is very comfortable if you like mesh chairs. I like the mesh seat. It does not bottom out like a cushion seat. The headrest sits a little low. I would like a height adjustment. It does adjust about an inch or so and it tilts. You can lock in the recline at various intervals and the armrest height is adjustable too. Assembly was easy. The lumbar support is good but you can only adjust the position. You cannot adjust the depth of the lumbar support. I did notice another reviewer noted that the edge of the seat does not have any cushion and digs into his legs. I think he put the seat on backwards. The seat edge does in fact have a cushion along the edge where your legs hang off. If you put the seat on backwards the cushion would be behind you and not along the edge.

I love my chair. I always order one whenever I start a new job. The way the chair contours to my back. The adjustable back piece is awesome. Although I wish the arms on the chair move outwards. The headrest is the best. The look of this chair is executive but its a task chair. The last time I purchased a chair like this it was black. I would definitely recommend.

The chair came in a large box that was utterly destroyed. Either mine was a return or ups really did a number on it. Luckily all the pieces were intact. Setup is ypur standard affair and went smoothly. Overall the chair has some really nice features but unfortunately the restrest height adjustment is really lacking. I'm 6ft and a bit long in the torso but I'm no giant and the headrest bottom is smack dab up into shoulderblades. Not comftable at all. For the chair to be usable the headrest must be removed which is a really shame. With headrest this would be pushing a 5 star review. Without it it's 3 star average chair.
