This is a solid chair. The fit is good for my 5-11 175 pound frame. It’s very comfortable for extended sitting. The head rest is too short fir me and the hight is not adjustable. The angle is adjustable though. The arm rests only move up and down on this chair.

I recently purchased a Steelcase Series One. It was to replace an on old Hyken that my son claimed. I returned the Steelcase and bought another Hyken. It is a very comfortable chair and half the price. I highly recommend it.

I have three close friends who have this chair and all recommended it to me. I figured it must be a pretty safe bet. And working from home during quarantine I need a good quality chair! It is a comfortable enough chair but a week into sitting on it I started noticing bent staples on the floor around my chair. I recently discovered the source -- the mesh of the seat of the chair is held into its frame by staples which are popping out at an increasing rate. As I lose them I lose the stability of the seat. Soon my chair will be a fancy plastic frame for a big hole where the seat used to be. I am not a particularly big or heavy person 170lb. I have been using it pretty heavily over the past week but certainly not jumping on it or picking at it or anything like that. What a shame for what could have been a good product.

I would give it more stars if I could! This is the most perfect chair for me. The lumbar aligns perfectly with my bad back. Might not be comfortable for a big person. I’m 5’4” 115 lbs. But my boyfriend also finds it comfortable. I didn’t put the arms on cause I need to slide it all the way in. I use the chair to work with clay. I love everything about it!

I suffer from back pain especially when seated for long periods. I purchased a much more expensive name brand chair for work that is great on my back and I have almost no pain. I purchased this chair from Staples for working at home. This chair is OK--I still have minor pain when sitting in it for a while but it is much better than other less expensive office chairs that I have tried. It's an acceptable substitute for the price.
