I have been stalking this chair waiting for a deal due to the great reviews. After many months I finally found a deal in the <$150 price I was looking for. Step up was relatively easy due to great pictures. The various screws are in well labeled packaging. The headrest is OK for me. If you need it taller there are instructions on the web for some modifications. I used to sit on a cushion. I have not used a cushion yet as this is more comfortable than I expected. Overall a great adjustable chair!

This is the first mesh chair that I purchased. Prior to this I used leather chairs. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Here are my observations. The chair arrived in one day. This made purchasing from Staples a motivating point. The box arrived intact. The contents were sufficiently protected. All of the bolts were labeled and the instructions were brief and easy to follow. Assembly time was around 30 to 40 minutes. It required an allen wrench that was provided. There is some degree of adjustability when assembling the chair. After assembling the chair I sat on it for the first time. My first impression was that it is a firm chair. You don’t sink into it. The mesh has a sufficient give to it. So the sit bones are somewhat cradled. The lumbar support is fantastic. There’s an adjustable support that allows you to move the lumbar support up and down. When assembling the chair you can adjust the back forward or backward by about an inch or so. I put it in the forward most position and that seems to work the best for me. The headrest adjusts by rotating it. It is not height adjustable. I find that it supports my head in the perfect place on the upper part of my neck and the lower part of my head. The arm rests are height adjustable and the material feels like sturdy rubber that has a bit of give to it. To be honest I don’t rest my arms on them while working on my computer. But I use them mostly when I’m in the reclined position. The chair reclines enough for my needs. I can recline by shifting my weight backwards and requires minimal effort. I would highly recommend experimenting with the adjustability of the reclining mechanism. There’s a knob underneath the chair that you can turn. It adjusts the force required to recline. If you set it too loose you won’t get the full support that the chair can provide. I set it somewhat firm. The chair is height adjustable. I’m able to set it to perfect height that allows my feet to sit comfortably on the ground. I’m going to keep the chair as it suits my needs and has met my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone.
Got the chair for work and it has proven to be absolutely comfortable and a lifesaver. Love it since i constantly have to be on the move and once i slump into it my body is cradled immediately and I can rest nicely. Great purchase!
