The hyken chair is comfortable for long hours. Installation was straightforward and the features match the product description. The headrest takes some getting used to since it makes me tilt forward though I think it helps keep my posture erect. One can choose to not install the headrest if preferred.
i’m 6’ 2” and this is too small. It’s like for someone like 5’10” or smaller. If you take off the head rest it is useable. otherwise seems good quality for the price.
I am absolutely certain that this chair was the cause of my neck pain that I suffered from for 1 year which started exactly 2 months after I started using this chair. At 5'8" The head rest is too low and constantly rolls backwards. Your neck ends up being curved back as you lean back and look up at your screen. I should have listened when I read that neck rests are not necessary on chairs and can cause weakening neck muscles. Even after countless massages the pain always returned after a couple of weeks So one day it dawned on me that my pain started around the time I got this chair. So I removed the head rest and things seem to be improving. I also find the bottom of the seat starting to sag after a year and so I had to put a thick cushion on it. I should have never listened to all the mainstream media reviews extolling the virtues of this 'high-quality yet affordable office chair'. They must have been paid to say it. I feel like a fool. My advice is for you not to become a fool like I did by buying this chair.
