My wife had back surgery several years ago. She now has 8 screws holding two metal bars on each side of her lower spine. This chair is very comfortable for her along with the lumbar support that allows her to sit and not be in pain. The most inexpensive chair in the store and actually the most comfortable. I tested them all. This one is a winner!

I would give it 5 starts if it didn't take me a little longer than I thought to do the back piece. it has to be lined up just right to screw in the piece. The nice part is you don't have to get any tools everything comes with the chair. I weigh over the weight limit and the chair does just fine for me. I would definitely recommend!
