The chair is not comfortable. The chair is to straight up and down and almost feels like u are falling forward. I plan on getting a different chair. Unfortunately I am stuck with it now because I had to put it together to figure out the comfort piece of the chair.

The chair is decently comfortable to sit in for some time. It does seem to lean forward for some people (my spouse feels this yet I don't) as other reviewers mention this. I am using the chair on a floor protector mat on a flat carpet so I have not had any issues with stability. Right out of the box the pump mechanism was messed up. It would pump up to full height and then when you sat in the chair it would make a noise and drop an inch or so and would not keep the max lift position. My spouse is a carpenter for a living and we read online that someone else did a similar fix and he drilled into the post and placed a large framing nail in the hole to keep the chair at full height. THIS BREAKS THE SEAL AND THE PUMPING MECHANISM AND SETS THE CHAIR AT WHATEVER HEIGHT YOU CHOOSE SO BEWARE! However that said meaning you can't return it of course the chair now is perfectly at the highest position and does not move at all! 3 stars due to having to essentially break the chair to use it.
