Sturdy chair once put together. Comfortable for me. Good back support and the arm rests are a good height for me. The directions for putting the chair together are pretty good. One tip though: don't tighten the arms up all the way before inserting the back. I was stuck on this step for awhile but once I realized that if I loosed the arms a little the back would fit in place better it took only about 5 minutes to have the back in and everything tightened up.
