Tha Wuhan pandemic hit the office chair industry in huge waves. Suddenly people who were forced to work from home needed more comfortable chairs than from their kitchen table or other area and searched the internet for alternatives. So did I. Only to find that a desk chair that might be of interest was on back order not available or lacked the specific dimensions that a smaller individual might require. My wish was to find an ergonomic chair of the proper dimension that I could “test drive” before purchasing. That wish in the present marketplace did not happen. However I did find a suitable non-ergonomic chair at Staples which has helped my back significantly and I was able to try it out in advance of purchase.
I purchased the chair for my granddaughter's virtual learning class. She actually picked it out and she loves it. So does her 2 1/2 year old baby sister who says it's her chair. She loves sitting in it with her big sister after the class work is done.
This chair is compact and lightweight which was exactly what was needed for the recipient. They couldn't move the heavier office type chair we had given them (the chair is used by an elderly woman of short stature). The chair didn't look too "officey" and was a very reasonable price. We didn't need anything fancy. The recipient loves it and has no trouble moving it around.
