The chair was easy to assemble. The seat and backrest are very firm. I would have preferred that the back recline a little more but even at the max it only tips back slightly if you push back. I appreciate having good upright posture but once in a while it's nice to lean back. Only used the chair a week so far so I can't speak to it's durability.
