It is cream color not black. Very comfortable for a "midsized" person. Size is good for a small space. Sales person was great. Would recommend to anyone other than a very large /very tall adult. Thanks for making a good chair for a small person.

The chair is good but to rise the chair up while sitting does not go up you have to get up and rise the chair and then sit.
