Chair isn't padded enough in the seat to make it comfortable to sit in for average work day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent bang for your buck.

At the time of writing, this chair is on a huge sale (very low price for its quality). I switched from a gaming chair to this simple ergonomic chair and felt an immediate difference (my lumbar was actually supported), and it was surprisingly more comfortable! The armrests did not interfere with my desk and even if they did, they are removable. I would highly recommend buying this chair if you are on an extreme budget and looking for quality.
Got 10 of these for the conference room and they work great. They were easy to assemble and did 10 in a few hours. Would look to get more when needed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a great chair

There is absolutely no way this chair sells for $179. That would be the biggest rip off ever. In reality this is a $30-$40 chair. It's not worth $89 on its best day, uncomfortable and just a cheap chair. Spend your money elsewhere. You will thank me . I gave the extra star because it's easy to assemble.

Cheap caster assembly highly frustrating

It looks nice and wasn't too difficult to assemble EXCEPT for the casters. There is nothing but gravity to hold them in place. Each time I lift up a bit on one side to slide one in, another falls out. Once assembled, this chair cannot be picked up and moved (for example to take upstairs), or the casters all fall out and you start over with the impossible task of getting them all to stay in. Had I known this in advance, I would not have purchased (my existing office chair does not have this problem)
