I am very happy with my decision to purchase this chair. The height adjustment works smoothly. I am 5' 3.5" tall and have it on it's lowest setting so if you are under 5' I would test this out in person first to make sure it will go low enough for you. I like that the arms are easily removable and can be left off if I decide to use it armless. They are also slightly adjustable to position their width apart (probably 1/2" each). It is done by where you position them in the screws before tightening. The seat is also nicely padded.

I am 6'2" with the back of a 60+ year old so I was skeptical when the saleswoman instructed me to try it out at my local Staples. Much to my surprise there was plenty of vertical adjustment sufficient thigh support and well fashioned arm rests as well. Been using it for a few weeks now and my back has made no complaint. Also got this chair on sale and delivered for free which made it an even better buy.
